Who we are:
beyondedu.me is a start up based in Sydney, AU that aims to help tertiary students and recent graduates standout in the employment race.

What we want:
In short: an awesome presentation. The presentation will form the initial backbone of our service offering and thus is critical to our immediate future.

The brief:
The presentation must incorporate the content in the Word document. The document contains a break down of the content which must appear on each slide.

The presentation should be clean, contemporary, easy to read and have an immediate impact. The presentation must incorporate our two corporate colours (Pantone 485 C and Pantone 3005 C) and our corporate font (Quicksand). Our font can be found on Google Fonts.

Our logo (see Contest Folder) should feature in the presentation.

The presentation must include a visually appealing representation of some statistics. The statistics relate to employment rates and can be found in the Excel file in the Contest Folder. See the Word document for more information.

The presentation must also include an embedded movie clip (see Word document for description and Contest Folder for file).

We are open with regard to format (PowerPoint or Adobe PDF) however the general layout should be a horizontal A4 or in 16:9.

Hi, we're working on this project. Elementary question: HOW and WHERE will user watch this presentation? As a desktop presentation (online/offline - I guess)? As a training material displaying on plasma or projector? Do you expect rather fine composed, suggestive slides or a story with animations? Best regards. hana from madmultimedia.pl

I have a few questions. Do we have to include the logo on each slide or just on the first one. I do not alter the logo but can I make the logo in one solid color to match better with some element? What PowerPoint version are you going to use to present this work? I ask this because the new version (PowerPoint 2013) has some new effects that may not be available in the older version. Also, can I use outside sources for pictures/ graphics?

  Hi s3venthlight. The logo does not necessarily have to appear on each slide. The logo should not be altered at all - the colours must remain as is. We use the latest version of PowerPoint. You may use whatever graphics you like subject to them being available on a Creative Commons basis.

I have a couple of questions.
Is it possible to submit this as a PowerPoint (.pptx) file over this forum?
If yes, is it possible for you to add the media file (.mp4) yourself to the respective slide? This will help in not exceeding the file size limit.

I have been doing your presentation as a movie. You said you're open to new suggestions as long as it keeps the ratio 16:9. So, i've worked it as a movie, usig kinetic typhography and it's a masterpiece :D The problem is, being a movie it has a movie extention: (ex: .mov), and here i can't upload only pictures: jpg, png. etc. How would i be able to show you my work? Is it ok to upload it on youtube and send you the link? Or what other way is there?

The kind of presentation you are asking requires a lot of efforts. Hope you are going to give us at least the time till the contest ends and don't select before that. I'll start working on your contest only when I see that I'm not in hurry to submit the entry because that will take away the quality you are looking for.

I would love to be able to design this presentation for your company. Ive read through your brief and presentation content and because it is so concise and clear, I am confident that I could prepare a breathtaking presentation with a better than perfect standard. However, I think this would be better suited as a project rather than a contest due to the level of work required.
