Contest Brief

I am looking for help with configuring a custom .htaccess file to allow me to host MODX CMS and PHP Jabbers Vacation Packages within the same root directory hosted on Linux server.

I would like for all content to use the domain.com/url-path URL structure. This means I would need to achieve the following via a customised .htaccess file.

1. PHP Jabbers VP and MODX CMS will need to use SEO friendly URLs but with removed .html suffixs.
2. This should include a rewrite of the login/password/reg currently generated for PHP Jabbers VP.

The custom .htaccess should include caching, gzip and any other .htaccess additions which will help increase website speed.

All new code should be commented for easy update when the site goes live.

Hi syslogic, this seems like an unfair comment. I have been unexpectedly called out of action for several months due to other commitments. Please don't take it personally.
