other marketing needs.

About the company:
Anchor Point Global is an international consulting firm specializing in custom software development, cyber/information security, IT infrastructure solutions, and compliance.

Customer segment:
Our customers include businesses of all sizes and span multiple industries, including energy, defense, healthcare, insurance, and finance.

Location:
We are strategically located in the center of the United States, Oklahoma, allowing us to quickly deploy to support our American customers.

Brand image:
Our brand should represent technological competence, professionalism, stability, and the importance of the long term relationships we develop with our customers. This is a new company and the challenge we face is establishing trust with customers used to doing business with large, veteran, IT consulting firms.

Initial design ideas:
Needs to look professional. Clean font. Logo should be able to stand alone with no text (think Nike Swoosh).

Drafts should NOT be limited to a ship anchor, or any other examples provided. All designs will be considered.

Business card ideas:
The cards will be printed on a thick stock.
A black card with black letterpress logo is preferable.

Deliverables:

1. Logo design
2. Color palette (for website and advertising)
3. Business card design

The designer will provide logo in Adobe source code format. The source code .PSD and/or .ai file must be 100% editable (layered design) both the font and graphic.
//Do NOT use a clipart or photo of a logo.//
//Do NOT use a linked, or rasterized image.//
The layered logo must be able to be 100% edited fully in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.

If you cannot provide this requested format please do not submit.

The more I see traditional anchors, the less I think they fit as a logo. I think it would be innovative to create a less obvious anchor. Marino had something like that going with his entry, but it's hidden behind text.

It's absolutely fine to leave the text out and include the name separately. Please don't forget that this contest requires a couple of other deliverables.
