Z stage v3
This is another concept based on the new information I got from you. Since there is only 5-6 movements a day and you want to keep this as lightweight as possible, the blocks and upper and lower body can be made from aluminum. Please let me know if this concept works better for you so that I can provide you with complete documentation based on this solution. The base plate has 2,2 mm diameter holes for screws which would suggest that it should be attached with M2 screws. However, placing a hexagon socket head screw (DIN 912) will cause a collision. Placing a smaller screw will reduce positioning precision. 1) Is the base plate purchased and comes with the guides? 2) Is the model accurate and if so, which screws should go there? 3) Can you give me the linear motor designation so that I can check everything and know what I'm working with? I found similar guides on Schneeberger's site but none with matching base plate.
