About us
Since 2005, Black Pearl brand of barbecue fuel has been popular among people residing in Europe, Middle East, Korea, New Zealand, Israel, Russia and Estonia. Despite being owned and operated by Nagahawatta Exporters and Importers, the brand has become hugely popular among people residing in different countries due to its organic and eco-friendly features. Unlike other charcoal brands, Black Pearl is made from coconut shells.

The manufacturer collects high quality coconut shells from individuals and coconut firms, and processes the coconut shells organically to deliver barbecue briquette that is high quality, solid, organic and environment friendly. A consumer can simply observe a bag of Black Pearl BBQ briquettes to understand the passion and dedication of the manufacturer for delivering products that protect the environment, while providing financial support to the poor Sri Lankans by encouraging coconut production.

What Makes Black Pearl BBQ Briquettes Different?

Unlike other BBQ briquettes brands available in the market, Black Pearl is made from pure coconut shells. As a tropical tree, coconut tree is popularly known as the tree in life. A tree produces about 75 to 100 nuts, whereas over 300 million nuts are produced per year in Sri Lanka. We collect the coconut shells after removing the coconut fruit and water inside the nuts.

I have submitted my own take on how the "About Us" page should look. Please notice that I reordered the information into a more logical flow of information and cut out some redundant content. By doing this, I also cut the word count from 554 to 272, which should make the article much easier to read in its entirety. Thank you for the opportunity to compete in this contest.
