I have a device that holds a medical device and works with a main flat body with hooks at both ends. The hooks grab the edges of this device and hold it in place by compression. There is a center ratcheting slide, not pictured, that brings the hooks together but does not provide that last bit of compression needed to hold the device in place. I have provided three pictures, Need/General Idea/Concept, that I hope explain what I would need. I would guess the amount of force needed is around 1 pound to close this system.
