yes, once. I won 50$. and I have one important question. Has anyone been employed/accepted for projects lately? Because for some time now, at least 1 year I think, all the projects I have applied to are scams, they don't choose anyone, all of them expire, or they trick you into XXX stuff if someone accepts you. I mean come on, post in the right category already! Don't just trick people into applying and in fact, it is an XXX project! I don't understand, if the employers are ashamed, then why an XXX category even exists? It has a purpose if it is put there!

I have been paid (thankfully). But yes I do see so many possible scams and frauds and contests as well as projects which are just abandoned. Is there anyone looking after the freelancer's rights and interests? Some of us pay for our entries to be either highlighted or kept private. Our money is going into someone's pocket. I don't mind but we expect a little care and concern in return.

I totally agree with waxaddict. This is a total scam on the part of the contest holder. Anybody with regular sensibilities can see it plain and simple. Freelancer, wake up and check the scamsters.

Terrible. Karma comes around though, and the business will always have things like this stuck to it, I know I'll personally put it out there that the business owners are scammers if I happen across their website.

if this is the case, this 'contest holder' is both unethical and unprofessional...I can just imagine how badly he/she will screw people in business and their life if they felt it was so necessary to do so on a FL contest....and, you are correct waxaddict- what this person has 'put out there' will surely come back to him/her...and, that.... you can be sure of!
