Konkurrence Instruktioner

We are launching Celine’s by the Sea, a refined coastal café and bar/event venue located on the waterfront in Port Stephens, NSW (beneath Bannisters Resort).

The venue operates as a premium café by day and transforms into an elevated drinks and event space on Friday–Sunday evenings.

This is not a hobby café. It is intended to become a scalable hospitality brand with potential for future locations. The brand must feel strong enough to expand.

Brand Positioning

Celine’s by the Sea should feel:

• Coastal luxury
• Refined but relaxed
• Timeless and elegant
• Gender neutral
• Confident but understated

Think:
• Sunset drinks overlooking water
• Linen, stone, natural textures
• European coastal influence (subtle, not cliché)
• A venue that feels curated, not busy

Avoid:
• Trendy fonts that will date quickly
• Tropical / beach cliché visuals
• Overly feminine script
• Loud or bold colour contrasts

Logo Direction

Primary logo should feature:

• Smooth, flowing script / running writing style for “Celine’s”
• Elegant but readable
• Not overly decorative
• “by the Sea” can be in refined secondary typography (clean serif or minimalist sans serif)

The logo should feel:

• Premium
• Balanced
• Intentional
• Able to sit beautifully on signage, menus and merchandise

It must work equally well in:
• Light neutral tones
• Black and white
• Embossed / debossed applications

Colour Palette Direction

Light, neutral, coastal tones such as:

• Cream
• Sand
• Warm white
• Light stone
• Soft taupe
• Muted sage or subtle coastal blue (very restrained)

The palette must feel timeless and sophisticated.

Deliverables Required

Primary Logo

Secondary Logo

Submark / Icon (for social media & stamp use)

Colour palette (with HEX + RGB codes)

Typography selection (primary + secondary font pairings)

Basic brand guideline PDF (logo usage, spacing, colours)

Business card design

Email signature template

Letterhead

Social media profile image formats

Black & white logo variations

Transparent background versions

File Types Required:

• AI / EPS (editable vector)
• PNG (transparent background)
• JPG
• PDF (brand guidelines)

Application Context

The brand will be used across:

• Café menus
• Cocktail menus
• Event proposals
• Signage (external & internal)
• Merchandise (caps, tote bags, tees)
• Website
• Instagram

It must feel cohesive and scalable.

Designer Requirements

Please include:

• Portfolio examples of hospitality or premium lifestyle branding
• Your design approach and process
• Timeline for completion
• Number of revision rounds included

We are looking for thoughtful, strategic design not just a font selection.

    Contest holders only see AI as visually good but the impact AI is: 1. it cannot be edited 2. copyright issues 3. low quality because it is only an image 4. the contest winners are used AI generally is not real designer or scammer
