I am seeking a person to design and build a website for my client. The website will be for a game called Darkblood Chronicles. The new website will promote the game that is currently waiting for a Green Light on Steam. We are aurrently at about the top 20 and expect to be green lit in about a month. The client wants to have a place to promote the RPG game but a place to call home for the game. He may have prequels and sequels.

DELIVERABLES
1) Design the look of the website and the pages
2) Build Website that you designed - must be easy to update for the client - you tell me what or how you will be building the site, WordPress, Blogger, own engine. etc. (NO DREAMWEAVER)

The point of the website will be to
- Promote the game launch
- Draw people into the game. And fans say the most important thing is the story.
- The video. If can find a way to promote the video to bring people in. Client is making another vidoeo also.

WEBSITE PAGES
1) Home Page - Treat the main page as a blog to post updates and such
2) About - The Story line + Character Write ups (main and protagonists) + Videos
3) Press - The game press release + What the press has said about the game thus far
4) Contact - a form to contact Dorian

OTHER STUFF FOR WEBSITE
- Social Buttons Client already has - Facebook, Twitter, and You Tube
- Side - stuff on the side that shows our friends or partners (such as blosomsoft (www.blossomsoft.com) This will be a box that could be 250x300 or what ever size you think will work. See how blossomsoft lays out things on the side. I could use this for updates, promotes partners, possibly ads for new games etc.

LOOK AND FEEL OF THE WEBSITE
- Use the colors already established. Learn more about the game on the Steam and Blossomsoft website
- Include the characters in the look of the website. They must be prominent. The client is proud of his characters.
- Clean, visually appealing, dark, reds and blacks, see images on the steam campaign and facebook page
- Look at Blossomsoft website (www.blossomsoft.com) - Client likes what he has done with his website. Clean and visually appealing

Sam is the main character
Ethan is the protector of Sam
Aeon is a supporting character

Client says nothing really jumps out from what has been submitted. Says they serve a purpose and right now nothing really unique about them. He wants his site to have an identity.

  I appreciate the ability to see how it will look. My client will respond with his favorite response: "a cookie cutter website" All the parts are there but it lacks a bit of appeal and sexuality to it. Not sure if that makes sense.

Usually web developer != web designer so I think you should separate it into 2 projects unless you want teams only.
