Lignol Energy Corporation (LEC:TSXV) is a green energy business, specialising in turning waste biomass into fuels and other valuable biochemicals.

We want one redesigned powerpoint slide (although more can be submitted) and a template, for our new corporate powerpoint presentation. The content of the slide is up to you - it can be the cover page, the mission statement, the strategy, any page from a previous presentation, preferably updated for factual events obtainable from the website news announcements. You can incorporate the existing logo and corporate colours, or change them if you feel it necessary.

We have recently transformed ourselves from a cellulosic ethanol technology company with a pilot plant in Vancouver and valuable patents/IP in the high purity lignin business, which is what our website shows, to having control of Territory Biofuels, owner of an $80 million cost biodiesel plant capable of producing 150 million litres of biodiesel per annum (see recent announcements for details), as well as 22% of Australian Renewable Fuels (ARW:ASX), the largest biodiesel producer in Australia.

Just in Vancouver (our head office) now. Will announce winner shortly. Apologies to those people where I rejected entries - I did not realise you lost points etc for that - I was trying to make it less cluttered for our judging procedures. Even though there can apparently only be one winner (I did ask the site if I could split the prize in any way) there are several people I would like to work with in the future, and I will be in touch. Hello

As you wanted, i have posted one redesigned PPT and one template. The redesigned PPT consists of 8 slides. I have made them as green as i could but keeping it corporative and professional. These slides are about Lignol and i have used info from the webpage. As an specialist in branding I have tried to be consistent with fonts, colours, logos, etc and as you can see, the slides are quite clear and clean. I also have made the PPT a little bit minimalistic because a PPT is normally used just to have some support and to much information can overwhelm the audience. On the other hand, the template consists of 10 slides and are about Territory Biofuels. I have followed the same rules although I have added some tips (font types, sizes).

I hope you like both PPT. If a finally get the prize i can help you to increased the PPT, i can facilitate you more maps, graphs, dividers and give you new tips. It has been fun and interesting. I am looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks. Regards.

Hi Stephenpmorris - I figured out how to submit it in JPG format - I was concerned if multiple JPG files could be sent, and thankfully they could.

I have sent you around 14 slides - its a makeover of your November 2012 presentation. There was animation added in it but however you would not be able to see it in the JPG format. I wish I had time to complete all of it. Looking forward to hear from you!

I hope my entry will speak of business itself. It doesn't matter if the content is complex as it has to go in print it should speak about business itself. These are just thoughts , we can collaboratively improve it and make it more focussed toward problem.

A few thoughts. As these presentations get printed put a lot, whilst the cover page and any that rely on images can be full colour, a white background on most slides is useful for people to write comments on, speeds up printing and conserves ink. If you have only done a cover page as an entry, to see the template page design would also be very useful. Also, I did put copywriting down as a skill for the contest, so to rewrite a slide to take into account recent events (ie on the slide showing our stake in ARF and Lignol, add a Territory Biofuels box..., or write an entirely new slide) is better than just a redesign of an existing slide.

  It is also fair to say I like a PPT to tell the whole story and not rely on a presenter. IE it should be able to be read as a complete package if emailed to someone, or given by hand.
