Contest Brief

I live in Corvallis Oregon, home of the OSU Beavers. I have a Beaver Logo which I am using for etching into stone and tile, and I would like to create a compelling product for Beaver fans without infringing on the University copyright. I have attached a file showing a picture of the Beaver. What I need is a witty slogan to go with the picture. It cannot be any of the slogans that are currently copyrighted by the University (O.S.U.), such as "Benny Beaver," "Beaver Nation," etc. In addition, I do not want to use "Beaver Country." I would like the slogan to be 6 words or less, but would be willing to compromise on the number of words, if the slogan was really compelling.

The archnemesis of the Beavers is the Oregon Ducks team (Oregon University). If the winning slogan were to somehow incorporate both Beavers and Ducks, I would be willing to upgrade the award to $30.00.

  I get the Beaver/Beaver play on words. However, this is for fans of the OSU Beaver sports team, so "Just In" doesn't really mean very much to the foootball or basketball players.

Hi I just did my version but when I try uploading it, its saying that type of file is not accepted. I have tried with both .ai and .pdf files. any thoughts on why this is happening?

  I don't know why that would be. I only want the text to go with the image, so there is no reason to be uploading images. I have received several others, so I am not sure why you are having a problem.
