LIVE555 Media Server + VLC

for more info(RTSP*): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Real_Time_Streaming_Protocol LIVE555 Media Server: Run live555MediaServer.exe in Your video folder. Open access for program (need 554 and 8000 ports). For VLC: a) Open files as URL ( rtsp://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/ ) xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx = your internet (if is "white") IP. If Router/etc = some problem. b) save playlist... c) give playlist to clients... (link on your site) d) You can create separate links for each video (on your site or just a list in text format) as well as instructions for use.

    looks like a pretty standard Video on Demand Streaming server... I've seen many of these available as freeware... This is NOT what I am looking for... setting a playlist in vlc and distributing that doesn't work at all... I am looking to have an internet based tv channel type stream... I will constantly be updating the playlist as I get new video's from different sources and the different programs will be played via a set schedule...
