Hello, freelancer world!

Are you creative? Do you like design? We need your help.

Elon Musk recently confirmed that he will provide a battery to power South Australia. He's already built PayPal which changed the financial world. His Tesla vehicles are saving our real life world. SpaceX is travelling to other worlds. But what can we expect next?

We're looking for YOU to design the future according to Elon Musk. What else can Elon turn his fixing talents to?

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Your idea of a product/innovation you think Elon Musk should come up with next. To be clear, this is NOT a logo contest.

Take inspiration from his SpaceX rocket, Tesla vehicles and concepts like Hyperloop. What's next? Is it another form of transportation? Or something else?

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

- Once you have that brilliant idea, you need to create an ORIGINAL design/illustration/3D model - clip art or copied images will be rejected.
- Your entry should focus on a single product only.
- In the description, tell us the benefit of this innovation.

WHAT WILL HELP:
- Reading stories on Elon’s background and the types of projects he’s previously worked on through the SpaceX, Boring Company, Solar City, etc
- Imagination to think of how technology can improve our lives
- Think about how best to illustrate the idea, this is a design contest first

Don’t get caught up in exactly how the product will work, we just want to see some really cool designs!

We're looking for imaginative thinking and great design too. Both will be important in thinking about the winner.

Your work could feature on our site, Projects Showcase page, and potentially in some online publications.

The length of contest has been extended.

Someone will win $1000.

      Well, both of them are using VR technology but that doesn't make them similar. they are completely different industry and concept. same like saying that 2 entries are similar because they use AI, Electricity or Solar energy.

    Why such chaos, most of the participants simply take the other's idea of the participant and seem to be improving, changing and then writing that this is his new model

      This is exactly why I've been waiting until the last hours of the contest to hand in my entry. Alas, they keep extending the deadline--presumably--and ironically-- because the entries aren't up to par.

    LOL!! Every time I'm about to hand in my designs, you extend the contest!!! I guess I'll continue to polish 'em up some more! I would hand 'em in early, but I'm a bit of a perfectionist, unfortunately.

    Can somebody correct me if I am wrong... Battery planes can fly for a few minutes...not hours...Many prototypes were build by NASA, Boeing etc.., AI is still not Elon Musk's core competency.... Air purification may be suitable for enclosed space.. available technology (HEPA filters) not suitable for large area, cost and replacement. Feasibility is more important than dreaming like Da Vinci.....and it should make money immediately..., in addition Elon is answerable to many share holders...

      With respect, HEPA filters were created a while ago, now here near the new technology available for air and smog purification now. The upcoming devices offer grounded filtration through lamps and buildings. My invention blows up the narrative through technology that works the same but on a grander scale. And enclosure is not necessary. Elon musk has stakeholders that would want to see the earth's biggest problem, Pollution, tackled. This attempt, even partly baked, has potential. Please work to better your own invention and not critique ours
