Hello Freelancers -
I am looking for some creative designs for shoulder patches to be sewn onto jackets. The patches will be approximately 4"x4" or 10 cm x 10 cm. They can be any shape and incorporate any imagery or design, but please be mindful that the design will be executed with thread so very small or intricate elements might be difficult to execute.
I'm looking for six different design for patches, each one unique and incorporating the year and the themes described below:
2006 - Expressing the idea of launch or take off or lift off and incorporating an aircraft, spacecraft, etc.
2007 - Incorporating the phrase "Back in Black" and the logo contained in the file "NWA Logo" uploaded here.
2008 - Incorporating the logo contained in the file "Old JAA Logo"
2010 - Incorporating the phrase "Breaking Bad News" and reflecting the graphical look of the television show "Breaking Bad"
2016 - Incorporating the idea of the 10th anniversary and the logo contained in the file "New JAA Logo" uploaded here
2020 - Incorporating the phrase "The World Turned Upside Down" with appropriate artwork and perhaps incorporates some of the color scheme and design of the play "Hamilton"
Winning designs will be professional, visually clever and original. Clip art, cartoons and obvious designs will not be rated highly.
This is a very short contest; I need the designs in three days. Also, please note that I will pay $100 for each winning design for each year. For example, if one person submits the winning design for each of the six years listed above, that individual would win $600, if they submit a winning design for just one year, they would win $100. Accordingly, each entry should clearly identify in its title what year it is for so I can easily sort them.
It is my practice to give bonuses for great work, but for those Freelancers who have participated in my contests before, please know that in this case I will NOT be purchasing multiple winners for each year. Each year will only have one winner. Also, it is NOT guaranteed that I will award a winner for each year if there is nothing that appeals to me.
I will not close this contest even though I know some Freelancers prefer not to share their designs with others, but in this case, given the unusual nature of the project, I think being able to see what I like and don't like will be helpful to contestants.
Please don't hesitate to ask questions and to submit multiple entries if you have multiple ideas. I'm often on line and I try to give useful, detailed feedback on your work.
Thank you in advance for considering to participate in this contest.
“In a contest I conducted recently, Stephen stood out for the quality of design and for how he implemented my general ideas into a useable design. I highly recommend him for any design project!”
