The name of the bar is "Ryan's on York"

Needs to be visible from far. Something modern and elegant. It is not a fancy bar but more of a place where people come to hang out with friends.

Bar will be traditional with a modern twist. Inside is mostly dark tan with one burnt red wall (color scheme not needed on logo)

Suggestions:

Simple style pub logo

Nice layout, some sort of graphic would replace the elephant, something resembling "YORK" but not New York City

Using the same M style beer mug make a beer mug out of the 'N' in 'RYAN'

York is the name of a road. Perhaps have "Ryan's" on top and "on York" below
