  I have been copywriting for several years, but never encountered this kind of task before, so I am quite interested to see what I can "come-up-with"... I am going to get a good night's rest and then begin composition tomorrow :-)

  Do you have any background information on Vanessa? For example, has she won or placed in any fitness-related contests, does she run races (5k, triathlon, etc..), is she a power-lifter or an endurance athlete, what's her professional background, does she have a family, kids or any miscellaneous achievements or awards? In other words, any information that speaks to who Vanessa is as a person.

     Vannesa is an all around humble person. She's quick to lend a helping hand with new members any way she can. And always sticks around after class to help clean up. Although she doesn't have that "competitor spirit", it surely doesn't mean that she doesn't have the drive to push herself to what we call in CrossFit, "The Redline", or the point of no return, so to speak. She is, in no way, a competitor. As an owner of the business, I chose Vannesa to be an ambassador for her humble spirit. Our company thrives on humble athletes. Heck, our business motto is, "Humble Athlete".

     Granted we have ambassadors that are competitors through and through, but most importantly, they're humble athletes first, competitors second. At some point in their lives, like many of us, have been challenged and been humbled by life's adversities. And Vannesa is no exception. The only difference with her is that she doesn't compete on the competition lever, nor does she show any interest in doing so. She's more like an everyday athlete. She goes in, takes care of business, may socialize with her friends for a bit, then goes about her business. She's definitely not one to waste any time! Her background in athletics is, zero! She's never competed in high school, nor participated in any kind of recreational sport as a kid, let alone, an adult. As far s her professional background goes, she's never been married nor does she have kids. It is my understanding that she has worked in the law enforcement field for all of her professional life.
